Translation Unit 600 Watt 24 Volt

The drive unit is coupled with a 600 watt slow-running generator. The belt is guided through the steel pulley of the generator, and the PVC pulley is smooth on the outside. This speed reduction unit is suitable for rotor sizes up to a maximum of 260 cm working range 3-16m/s diameter and includes:

• 1 X steel shaft, diameter 20 mm, length 370 mm, thread 30 mm M12, 40mm M20

A suitable hub can be selected if needed!

Please note that such a gearbox unit is indispensable for most generators, as otherwise, very little power is delivered due to the low speed.

The use of a gearbox results in an increased starting torque!
This can affect the starting behavior of wind and hydropower systems.

Repeller recommendation:
Locations with good wind conditions (coastal areas or flat land) are well advised to use the 6-blade aluminum repeller 200 cm or the 3-blade laminated wood repeller 260 cm.
Other locations should use a 4-blade aluminum repeller 260 cm, for example.
