The patented vertical wind turbine combines the advantages of Savonius and Darrieus rotors. Good starting characteristics and efficient operation at higher wind speeds characterize this type of system.

The rotor has a height of approximately 450 cm and a diameter of approximately 300 cm. It is equipped with half-shells based on the Savonius principle. One half-shell is mounted on the central shaft offset by 120°. Additionally, each blade has a lift runner installed, which particularly increases the efficiency of the system at high wind speeds. The system can be mounted freestanding on a mast and operated in a three-legged mast system.


The start occurs at 4 m/s and the maximum power is reached at approximately 14 m/s.

The generator has a power output of approximately 3000W at 240V.
